Being recruited to row in college requires more than an impressive 2k score.  You're called a "Student Athlete" (with the word "Student" first) for a reason.  And performance metrics other than those on the erg matter - specifically those linked to your academic achievements.  The NCAA has set requirements with regard to GPA, standardized test scores, and core-courses that all must be met and exceeded if you hope to be eligible to be recruited to the school of your choice.
