Coach Walton starts by showing us bad technique, laying back too far with the body at the finish.  He then goes on to detail three drills which help correct the error; promoting better horizontal movement Into and out of the finish and increasing stability in the core throughout the entire stroke.  The result is horizontal, strong, efficient strokes.  If you have an issue with laying back too far at the finish (or even if you don’t), this video will teach you drills which will help increase your efficiency and effectiveness on the rowing machine over any distance.
